“Do You See Positive Aspects in Others?” - Professor M.S.Rao

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude to me is more important than facts.... We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10 percent what happens to me and 90 percent how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes.” - Charles R. Swindoll

Do you see positive things in a negative person?  Do you remember positive people rather than negative people in your mind?  Do you remember sweet memories rather than sweat memories? Do you emphasize on ideas rather than on issues and individuals?  If the answer to these questions is “yes” then you are a true leader who can handhold others.  You can throw the light and show the way for others.

Most of the people blame their circumstances and people around them for their failures. They often think that they are only right and others are wrong.  They think that they are the victims of circumstances.  They hardly have any internal locus of control.  Such people cannot grow as leadership material. Here are the tips to view positive things among others to grow as a successful leader:

  • Avoid pessimism.  Develop optimism.
  • Learn to look at things positively.
  • Develop the attitude of gratitude.
  • Let go off the past. Learn to look at things on a clean slate by avoiding negative perceptions against individuals.
  • Focus on your goals to fill your mind with energy and enthusiasm.
  • Enjoy the nature.
  • Go to a serene place and spend your time to allow positive thoughts to enter your mind.
  • Above all, make a difference in the lives of others.

When you follow these tips you will develop positive attitude towards life and the people around you.  You will give your best and you get the best and excel as a true leader.
